Honfleur

Honfleur is one of the most popular places to visit in France. Located on the southern side of the Seine’s estuary, this beautiful city was built essentially for trade.

You will discover a charming fishing port, called “Le vieux bassin”, built in the traditional Norman architecture surrounded by multy-storey houses.

Honfleur has attracted artists, and was the heart of the impressionist movement. Painters came from all over Europe to capture the beautiful lights and colors of the Seine estuary. You will follow the footsteps of Claude Monet who used to be a frequent visitor.

The small paved streets of Honfleur are a wonderful place to stroll and to enjoy fresh and local sea food.
