Deauville & Trouville-sur-mer

Deauville was founded in 1850 by the visionary Duc de Mourny. With the first train connection between Paris and Normandy, Deauville became a very popular seaside resort. Some incredible Grand Hotels and a Casino were built in a short period of time.

During the Belle Epoque, more luxury hotels were built but also the famous wooden boardwalk. You will discover in Deauville the iconic “Art Déco”.

Originally Trouville was a small fishing port with a traditional fish market hall. This fish market hall was listed to the National Heritage in 1992. Don’t miss this elegant building during you ride!

With the expansion of the tourism in Deauville, Trouville became as fashionable as Deauville with its wonderful villas and palaces.
